I love drinking. I love a good theme. Put those two together, and you've got the recipe for an amazing experience. The Disney Wish absolutely went above and beyond with its unique themed bar experiences and new signature cocktails. While this ship typically sails for just 3-4 day cruises, you might worry about not having enough time to hit all the spots. But fear not—I took one for the team and managed to try 95% of the bars on board. Now, I’m here to let you know which ones are worth a stop and which I'd swap out for the Nassau Señor Frogs experience.
This was a three-night cruise with two people drinking. The total to try all these beverages and bars was around $1,000. Folio problems.
#9 Currents - Deck 14, Forward
Besides the view (which many bars have), there isn’t anything special about Currents. The menu is the same as the Cove Bar. You’re definitely not missing much, although the circle chairs are massively comfortable. A major plus was that the menu came to me via traveling servers. It’s a good spot to hit if you have kids enjoying the splash pad.

#8 Bayou - Deck 3, Midship
This one might make me some enemies, but it was not great. Themed to The Princess and the Frog, I thought it was going to be amazing. Maybe my expectations were set too high. The drinks were unimpressive, and the beignets left much to be desired. Just a miss for me. The live music was fun, and it’s a very pretty space...but everything is pretty; it's Disney. Some would say it's almost there...

#7 Enchanted Sword - Deck 5, Midship
This was a fun way to start the day. It’s a great little coffee shop with some spiked beverages to boost. You can order different coffee grinds from around the world. While the ambiance isn’t anything amazing, it was easily one of the strongest drinks I had on the ship and is located right next to the DVC sales desk (coincidence? I think not). For any gin lovers out there, the Brew Tonic is the perfect drink to take the edge off. Another pro: the Cove Bar can get busy in the morning, so this is definitely a quieter and quicker spot if you like to start your day with a cup of joe...with your favorite character’s face on it. Spirits optional.

#6 The Cove & The Cove Cafe - Deck 13, Aft
The outdoor section at The Cove shares the same menu as Currents, but what really sets it apart is the killer view. Imagine yourself lounging at the stern of the ship, infinity pool at your feet, cocktail in hand—absolute bliss, right? It’s one of those "magic moments" where you almost forget how much you’ve spent on the drink and the trip as a whole.
Then, stepping inside to the Cove Café, conveniently located right next door, is perfect for a pick-me-up after all those cocktails and sun. Inside, you’ll find a chill, Moana-inspired vibe with an impressive lineup of spiked coffee drinks. And if you’re a coffee enthusiast, the brewing methods on display are definitely worth sticking around for.

#5 Nightingales - Deck 3, Midship
A piano bar and a drink that comes in an actual nightingale. Based on the "Sweet Nightingale" song from Cinderella, this is the perfect romantic spot for a nightcap. The theme is perfectly Disney without being overly cheesy. The one slight miss was the cocktails, and maybe it was the order. While the Sweet Nightingale was delicious, it was more expensive than an average Disney cocktail. However, after having Dreams Come True, I would not advise it—but that’s just my personal taste buds!

#4 Luna Libations
This was the biggest surprise to me! Themed after the Pixar short La Luna, these drinks HIT. I was so impressed with the theming of the cocktails to the short; it blew me away. They were also the best-tasting cocktails I had on the Disney Wish (minus one, but keep reading to find out). While it is located in the entertainment spot and doesn’t have anything overly crazy besides some celestial incorporations, it was always home to a game or trivia challenge, which made it even more fun. Do not sleep on Luna Libations.

#3 Keg and Compass
Incredible. Giant pretzels, a horn of mead, and the Miami Dolphins kicking the Buffalo Bills’ behinds. This is an Old World pub that celebrates the romance and escapades of life on the high seas and gives a great hint of a classic Irish sports bar. Loved every sip in this bar.

#2 The Rose
I don’t know if I’ve talked about them enough, but VIEWS. WOW. Inspired by the classic tale of Beauty and the Beast, The Rose bar is easily the most gorgeous interior of any bar on the Wish and has the best views. I did try the $50 famous Rose cocktail, and if you’re a tequila fan, it hits. If you’re not, be warned. The presentation was half of the fun. This bar also had the most beautiful bathroom I have ever seen. Do not miss it.

#1 Hyperspace Lounge
Go immediately. Get on that boat, get to Deck 3, and travel through hyperspace. These drinks and this atmosphere will make you forget the fact that Luke and Leia ever kissed. Amazing presentation, the best bartenders we had (and that says a lot with Disney hospitality), simply incredible. I did not order the Kaiburr Crystal, better known as the most expensive drink in the galaxy—for $5K—but it’s on the bucket list.

Honorable Mentions/Don't Miss - Your Liver Will Forgive You
Hooks Barbery - For me, this would be number one, but it’s technically not a full-blown bar. I love whiskey, and this was essentially a build-your-own-sundae bar but with Old Fashioneds mixed with a Peter Pan speakeasy vibe. I went with a Japanese-style Old Fashioned, and it has ruined all other Old Fashioneds for me.

Air Bar - Not on the Wish but in Serenity Bay on Castaway Cay. Themed to 1920s air travel and a pilot who may have had a tough landing and made his passion creating incredible abandoned island beverages. Just go get the famous Castaway Cay Konk Kooler. It was incredible.

Enjoy the Disney Wish and make sure to hit these must-visit bars during your cruise. Each offers a unique experience, from breathtaking views to expertly crafted cocktails. Whether you’re a fan of classic Disney themes or looking for something new, these bars are worth every sip. Cheers!
