Information you provide directly:

• -Profile information: avatar and other optional profile fields
• -Content you post: threads, replies, and reactions
• -Payment information: processed and stored by Stripe, we do not store your card data directly

Information collected automatically:

• -Usage data: pages visited, features used, time spent on the platform
• -Technical data: browser type, device type, IP address, operating system
• -Gamification data: XP earned, level, badges, leaderboard activity

We use your information to:

• -Create and manage your account
• -Provide community features and premium tools
• -Process subscription payments and manage billing
• -Operate the gamification system (XP, levels, badges, leaderboards)
• -Send transactional communications (account confirmations, billing notices)
• -Send marketing communications, only with your explicit consent at signup

Supabase: Our platform is built on Supabase, which hosts our database and handles authentication. See Supabase's Privacy Policy.

Vercel: The platform is hosted on Vercel. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.

Stripe: Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe acts as a data processor for billing information on our behalf. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising targeting on third-party platforms.

By using the platform, you consent to our use of cookies as described above. You can manage non-essential cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect platform functionality.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as billing records.

Community content (threads, replies) may be retained in anonymized form after account deletion to preserve conversation integrity, or removed upon your explicit request.

In the event of a data security breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you in accordance with the New York SHIELD Act and any other applicable law. Notification will be provided without unreasonable delay and will include the nature of the breach, the information affected, and steps we are taking to address it.

We will only send you marketing communications if you explicitly opt in at signup via a clearly labeled checkbox. You may withdraw consent at any time by:

• -Clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email
• -Emailing hello@thejobsagame.com with the subject "Unsubscribe"

Withdrawing marketing consent does not affect transactional communications related to your account or subscription.

The Playbook is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will terminate their account and delete associated data promptly. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us at hello@thejobsagame.com.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, including encrypted data transmission, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no online platform can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
